I am a white male. I feel it is stupid of any white person not to vote for Barrack Obama because he is black. Let’s get past the 1950′s, people.
Some unquestionably are. I hope they are small in number.
Do you think white people are silly enough not to vote for Obama just because he’s black?

But you shouldn’t vote for him because he is black. Any decision based on color is racism… I wouldn’t vote for him because I feel he has less experience… Color or gender are just Trojan horses…

being black has nothing to do with it. being a tax and spend liberal does and thats why he wont get my vote. if thats silly, then call me a raving clown.

Absolutely NOT
)))
Obama for President !!!
edit: scott-you are right. He is very bright, very genuine, and color doesn’t HAVE ANYTHING to do with that. sagin: I have news for you there are black people all over this country that already are in positions of "power" over multitudes of white people. So what?

It appears the only reason you are voting for him is because he is Black. He has no experience, so that can’t be the reason you are voting for him.

I dont really think it is silly, I mean it is, but that is how racist some people still are in the United States. They may tolerate black people in society, mainly because they have to but many people would not want to see that same black person have more power than them.

It’s just silly to vote for Obama period. I don’t care what decade it is.

Yes, it would be stupid. The reality is that some white people feel exactly that way – that they don’t want him for president because he is black.
The opposite is true as well – it is dumb for black people to vote for him just because he is black.
He should be voted for because people believe in what he has to say, they have similar platform views, and they think the can do well in office, regardless being of black or white.

Yes,indeed, we should vote because what the person is believing to do with our country, not because of skin color.
But,some people still won’t get over the fact that it doesn’t matter.
What I’m looking for is what’s better for our country, not skin.

It is completely dumb but yes, there are plenty who won’t because he’s black.
I’m voting for him and I’m white.

Lots and lots and lots of whites will not vote for him because of his race. Many more from all ethnic backgrounds will not vote for him because of his inexperience.
By the way, his wife makes many comments that can be construed as racist. He belongs to a separatist church. Visit their website and see how they ionized one of the biggest racists in America.

I am white. I voted for Obama in the Primaries and will do so in the General Election (assuming he is the Democratic nominee-if not, I cross over to McCain). I support Obama because he is inspirational, honest, steady, is willing to find the best solutions (regardless of whether its a "republican" idea or a "democratic" idea) and because he has hope/faith that America can do better.

i think if white people do not vote for him, race is not an
issue as your question suggests.
he,s a really bright guy, but with only two years in the
us senate, he is too inexperienced.

I am also a white male, and I think that we are past much of the color barrier.
Most people will not vote for Obama because he is not qualified to lead our country. Ditto for Hillary.
Do you think black Americans are silly enough to not vote for McCain just because he is white? Let’s get past emotional thinking and get back to logic.

The Democratic exit polls in Louisiana showed just that. 20% of the voters DID NOT vote for him just because he’s black.
He won the primary there anyway.
I guess the KKK isn’t too happy about it, either (include skinheads 9n that, but they may be too stupid to vote, anyway).
