I’m engaged to a German guy, and I can’t tell you how many people have made idiotic remarks (to me, not him) about Nazis, Hitler, etc.
I mean, for crying out loud, what does somebody born in 1978 have to do with it?
So that makes them idiotic? People will find a way to make fun of you no matter what your nationality, with Germans it happens to be nazis. It doesn’t mean they actually think that all Germans are nazis.
