But seriously – aside from the above problems, no one seems to show much interest in proper English. That goes for USA and quadruple for Philippines where English is one of the official languages. And yes, it would be good for everyone to turn on their spell checker AS WELL AS their grammar checker (Microsoft Word does have one).
I always hear about men getting abused and people laugh. If a women gets abused no one laughs though.

We hear about these strange things all the time from Ghosts to Aliens. IS this all News crazziness or are there really people seeing these things? Are cows really getting mutalated? UFO? I’ve never seen any of these crazy things.
You listed only two choices, but of course there are more than that. Other possibilities are that people see things in the dark, jump to conclusions, are influenced by the power of suggestion, etc.
Cow mutilations are easily explained by pack animals hunting and going after the easy meat. UFOs are seen all the time, but that just means they are unidentified, not of alien origin. If there is something in the sky at night, it can be awfully hard to identifiy.
